Mani Ratnam's Kadali shoot begins
Hyderabad: The shooting of director Mani Rathnam's new film Kadal (Kadali in Telugu) began in Manapad, a coastal village between Tuticorin and Tiruchendur.
The film is a love story with a different backdrop and in the hands of Mani Ratnam, it is likely to be a very lucid narrative.
Tamil actor Karthik's son Gautham is playing the lead role in Kadal. Samantha is the female lead, while Lakshmi Manchu plays a key role. Arjun is the antagonist and Aravind Swamy dons a crucial character in the film. AR Rahman is scoring the music.
