Hyderabad: Comedy and Naresh are synonymous. Ever since his debut in Allari, he was rechristened Allari Naresh.
Son of EVV Satyanarayana, who along with Jandyala, had breathed a new lease of life into Tollywood with a string of family films that enthralled the middle class, Naresh has done films which has a comedy undercurrent.
His latest film, Nuvva, Neena hit the screens on Friday. Never mind if it is a hit or a flop in whatever sense, collection wise or audience response wise, he has earned the name of a dependable hero who gives the producers minimum guarantee.
'The movie has come out well and I am confident it will do well. It has all the comedy elements people expect from me', he says.
When asked about the importance of comedy in films, Naresh says 'Today, people want comedy and entertainment more than anything else.
If you give them melodrama and heavy sentiment only, things won't work out so well'. Shreya play the female lead in this film.
