New Delhi: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu attended the India AI Impact Summit 2026 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, emphasising the state's commitment to emerging technologies and its ambition to become a leading hub for artificial intelligence, advanced research, and innovation.

During the summit, Naidu participated in a roundtable discussion on "AI Accelerators: Fueling India's Economic Growth" alongside other prominent leaders, including Assam Chief Minister Hemanta Biswa Sarma and Union Minister Jitin Prasada. He also engaged with global industry leaders, policymakers, and technology innovators to attract strategic investments and partnerships in AI.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that efforts are on to develop Andhra Pradesh as a knowledge and creator economy and taking steps to formulate necessary plans for which the cooperation from various companies is essential. Stating that Andhra Pradesh has abundant tech-based youth power, the Chief Minister said the state government is focusing on to train them in artificial intelligence and Quantum technology.
Interacting with several Tech giants at the summit the Chief Minister sought their cooperation to develop Andhra Pradesh as knowledge and creator economy centre.
Later the Chief Minister held separate meetings with leading industrialists at the AP Pavilion in Bharat Mandapam. He met Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen, Autodesk AI Head Mike Haley, Aramco India Director Abdul Rehman AiThukair, LEGO Education Vice President Tom Hall, Aadhaar Founder & CTO Srikanth Nadhamuni and Khosla Ventures Managing partner Vinod Khosla.
The Chief Minister also held discussions with Saudi Aramco representatives on clean energy projects, including solar energy in Andhra Pradesh. He invited Saudi Aramco to expand its operations in the state and explained that Andhra Pradesh is highly suitable for green energy production.
In his discussions with Adobe Systems CEO Shantanu Narayen, the Chief Minister reiterated that his goal is to transform Andhra Pradesh into a knowledge hub. He explained that the government is focusing on establishing quantum computing facilities, data centers, drone cities and space cities in the state. He also highlighted future initiatives in real-time governance and personalized medicine. The Chief Minister stated that the youth will remain the country's and the state's biggest asset over the next 25 years and sought cooperation in promoting the creator economy on a large scale. Shantanu Narayen assured that specialized creator software would be provided to enhance the skills of students and professionals.
The Chief Minister requested support from NVIDIA Vice President Callista Redmond for establishing AI Living Labs in Andhra Pradesh and also sought partnership through the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub to encourage youth innovation. Additionally, he invited collaboration with IIT Tirupati and IISER Tirupati under the AP FIRST initiative.
The Chief Minister urged Autodesk AI leadership to support the development of Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in Andhra Pradesh for design engineering solutions and requested the establishment of an Innovation Academy in Amaravati aligned with Quantum Technology. He also requested LEGO Education's Vice President Tom Hall to support the establishment of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics learning labs accessible to school students. Furthermore, he proposed collaboration with the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub to foster innovation and suggested setting up a LEGOLAND Cultural Experience Center in Visakhapatnam.
He also discussed AI solutions for smart governance and citizen services with Quantela Inc. Chairman Sridhar Gadhi. World Bank Group Digital AI Regional Director Mahesh Uttamchandani also met the Chief Minister.
Following his meetings with industrial leaders, the Chief Minister visited various exhibition stalls at the AI Impact Summit set up at Bharat Mandapam. He keenly observed the displays by companies including NVIDIA, Nysa, Tata, Intel, and Microsoft. He enquired about AI applications and outcomes across sectors such as agriculture, healthcare and industry.
At the summit, Tata showcased its Digital Health Records initiative 'Sanjeevani' being implemented in Andhra Pradesh, along with the Digital Nerve Centre. The Chief Minister showed particular interest in use cases related to robotics and AI-driven services.
