10. Prime Minister launched farmer-centric Kisan channel - DD Kisan to address the needs of farming community.It will be a two-way traffic for the government and the farmers to communicate with each other also advisories and information on weather, pest attacks and crop prices are made available.
11. Farmers and the poor can also get insurance benefit by joining Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana by paying just one rupee a month and secure against possible accidents by paying just Rs.330 a month.
12. Every poor person has the right to have a back account under Prime Minister's Jan Dhan Yojana in to which his subsidy entitlements will be deposited without any middlemen and corruption. Already, 15 cr such accounts have been opened.
13. Every entitled beneficiary should insist on LPG subsidy to be deposited in his bank account under PAHAL scheme. Already, more than 12 crore people are getting this benefit.
14. Youth should approach concerned authorities for acquiring skills since under Prime Minister's Skill Development Programme, 3,000 youth in each district would be trained. In addition, massive skill development efforts are being undertaken the Skill Development Mission.
15. Tribal people would get remunerative prices for minor forest produce since this Government for the first time has introduced Minimum Support Price for such produce.
16. Tribal families should send their children to Eklavya Model Residential Schools and 41 such schools have already been set up so far.
17. Required infrastructure is being promoted in tribal areas under Jan Bandhu Kalyan Yojana started with Rs.100 cr.
18. Youth of weaker sections should obtain financial support for setting up enterprises under the Rs.100 cr Enterpreneurship Development Fund and another Rs.100 cr Venture Capital Fund.
19. Small vendors, those running bakery shops, betel shops, groceries, those running small and micro enterprises can now get financial support of Rs.10,000 to Rs.ten lakhs from MUDRA Bank, now being set up. Entrepreneurs belonging to SC/ST who constitute 65% of the 5.70 crore small and micro enterprises in the country will benefit from this initiative of the government.
