-This is only an illustrative account of what the Government has done during the last one year for the benefit of all sections of the poor and vulnerable.
-In addition, necessary measures have been taken up to ensure a transparent and accountable governance without any scope for corruption. Over Rs.2 lakh crore revenue has been generated through auction of coal blocks that would benefit the poor in the mineral bearing states.
Another Rs.1.10 lakh crore revenue has been generated through auction of spectrum.
-Strong foundations are being laid to ensure sustained high rate of economic growth through massive infrastructure development. Laying of National Highways, improving rail network, development of water ways is being given unprecedented attention.
-Ease of doing business is being improved to enable much desired investment flows which are necessary for the success of Make in India campaign.
-Functioning of Parliament has seen a turn around
-Prime Minister has ensured an unique place to India through effective foreign policy initiatives.
-From the above, the NDA Government has made a firm beginning and has taken several strides to create an empowered, secure and resurgent India based on:
i. Empowerment of every individual to help him/her advance in life and stand on his/her own and live with dignity
2.Ensuring social security for the poor, vulnerable and the needy sections of the society
3.Enabling a transparent and accountable governance that will root out corruption which has come to be the number one enemy of the common man
4.Ensuring sustained economic development which will unveil opportunities and make a direct dent into poverty
5. Enabling effective functioning of Parliament to catalyse economic development by removing the hurdles; and
6.Ensuring effective global partnerships to further national goals.
