KTR says Modi insulted Telangana

Hyderabad, July 7 (INN): Minister K T Rama Rao on Friday expressed his disappointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's treatment of Telangana and accused him of insulting its creation. He also criticized the Congress party for not speaking out against the PM and the BJP.

Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan along with Ministers Jagdish Reddy and Satyavathi Rathore, KTR said that PM Modi had failed to fulfill any of his promises regarding the partition of Telangana. He highlighted that while Gujarat received a coach factory worth Rs. 20,000 crores, Telangana was allocated a mere Rs. 521 crores. He accused the Prime Minister of shedding "crocodile tears" for Telangana and announced that the BRS party would boycott Modi's visit the following day. KTR also raised questions regarding the status of promised projects such as the Tribal University and Bayyaram steel factory.

KTR also questioned why the Congress party president, Sonia Gandhi, refrained from criticizing the PM and BJP. He alleged that Godse's ideology had infiltrated Gandhi Bhavan and claimed that present TPCC President Revanth Reddy had affiliations with the RSS. KTR emphasized that only land grabbers were against the functional implementation of Dharani.

Regarding electoral politics, KTR stated that the Congress and BJP worked together in every election, but their fraudulent activities were becoming increasingly evident to the public. He acknowledged Chief Minister KCR's struggle and stated that people from other states were joining the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) because they know the frauds of the Congress and BJP.

He claimed that it was clear that the TRS would come to power for the third time in Telangana.

KTR also expressed his condolences on the deaths of Kusuma Jagadish and Sai Chand, two party workers who died recently. He said that the TRS would give the monthly salary of party representatives to the families of both. Saichand's wife has been appointed as the Chairman of Warehousing Corporation.
